1. Information we collect
- Account information: your account ID, name, email address, profile photo, and language when you sign in with Google. We never receive your Google password.
- Palm and reading data: palm images you submit, measured palm-line patterns, generated readings, remedies, and selected language.
- Purchase information: product, purchase reference, status, and time needed to verify a Google Play purchase. We do not receive your card, UPI, or bank details.
- Technical and support data: app activity, device and app version, crash details, IP address, security logs, and messages you send to support.
2. How we use information
We use this information to:
- sign you in and protect your account;
- analyse palm lines and generate the reading or remedies you request;
- save and display readings selected by you;
- verify purchases and prevent duplicate fulfilment or fraud;
- provide support, diagnose crashes, and improve reliability; and
- meet legal and security obligations.
We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.
3. Palm images and AI processing
Palm images are processed to provide your requested result. If you choose to save a reading, its original image and optional line overlay are kept in private cloud storage. Palm images are not used to identify or authenticate you.
Relevant palm measurements and reading context may be processed by an AI service to create your reading or remedies. Payment details and Google passwords are never sent to the AI service.
4. Sharing and service providers
We share only the information needed with providers that support sign-in, payments, cloud hosting and private storage, AI generation, analytics, crash reporting, and security. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect users and the service. These providers handle data under their own privacy terms.
5. Camera permission
Camera permission is used only when you choose to capture a palm photo. PalmView does not continuously access the camera or record video in the background.
6. Storage and retention
Account and reading data is kept while needed to provide PalmView. Saved readings remain until you delete them or request account deletion. Purchase records may be retained to preserve paid access, prevent duplicate fulfilment, resolve disputes, and meet legal duties. Limited security, support, tax, or accounting records may also be retained when required.
7. Your choices and deletion
You can delete individual saved readings in PalmView. To request deletion of your account and associated data, visit our Account & Data Deletion page. Signing out does not delete your account. You can manage camera permission in Android settings.
8. Security, changes, and contact
We use reasonable safeguards such as encrypted connections, private storage, access controls, and secure session and purchase verification. No online system is completely secure.
PalmView is not directed to children. We may update this policy when our service or legal requirements change. The latest version and update date will remain available on this page.
